Sarah Tinsley

Physical Therapy Assistant

Sarah is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion for helping individuals improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life. Her interest in rehabilitation and human movement began through her lifelong involvement in a variety of sports, where she developed an appreciation for physical performance, injury prevention, and recovery. Prior to entering the physical therapy field, Sarah worked as a personal trainer for 2 years, helping clients achieve their fitness goals while building a strong foundation in exercise science and wellness. Motivated by a desire to make a greater impact on patients’ recovery and long-term health, Sarah pursued a career in physical therapy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Azusa Pacific University in 2023 before continuing her education at Loma Linda University, where she completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2025.

As a PTA, she enjoys working in outpatient Orthopedic, Neurologic, and Sports medicine settings. Sarah is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal goals, regain confidence in their movement, and return to the activities that bring them the greatest enjoyment. She has a special interest in working with athletes, guiding them through the rehabilitation process and helping them safely return to their sport at their highest level of performance. Sarah believes that patient education is a key component of successful recovery and strives to make rehabilitation not only effective and evidence-based, but also engaging, motivating, and enjoyable for every patient she treats.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, watching movies, attending sporting events, and spending with family and friends.
